Ref: TEN THOUSAND FOR RUDISHA TABASAMU INITIATIVE

Shujaa Cancer Foundation (SCF) is a non-profit organization with Registration No. ooNGO/R/1493 issued on 17th November 2020.  We, SCF intend to improve the quality of life for cancer survivors who are in the transition stage from active treatment to life after treatment, hence elevating cancer survivorship in Tanzania.

As part of our mission and goal to make a difference in the cancer community and society as whole, SCF would like to bring back the lost smile and hope to the cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and the society. In fulfilling this, SCF came up with the slogan, “Rudisha Tabasamu” an initiative which proposes to show love, educate the community, and support the cancer survivors / patients and their care takers. On this initiative, we plan to raise some funds from friends, family and colleagues on monthly basis.

Thus, the funds collected from this 10K initiative will be directed to support the following areas in need:

• Investigations (initial diagnosis)
• Treatments (chemotherapy)
• Transport to and from for both cancer patients and their caregiver
• Hospital & Home visits (Palliative care).

We at SCF have identified that the key challenges faced by most cancer patients and survivors are financial challenges for follow ups on diagnosis, treatments, as well as transport for those who are coming from upcountry. The beneficiaries will be identified from select hospitals by using the assistance of the social workers or oncology nurses as well as using hospital data base to identify those in need of palliative care in their homes. All these will not be possible without your generous support.

To fulfill our mission, SCF asks you for a monthly commitment of Tshs.10,000/= or more that would be sent directly to the account whereby you will be provided with a receipt and a monthly report on the amount collected/support given. YAH: ‘RUDISHA TABASAMU KWA ELFU KUMI’

Shujaa Cancer Foundation (SCF) ni asasi iliyosajiliwa rasmi yenye usajili No. ooNGO/R/1493 ilitolewa tarehe 17 Novemba 2020.  SCF imelenga katika kuboresha na kuinua maisha ya mashujaa wa saratani ambao wapo kwenye hatua ya kumaliza tiba ya awali na kuingia kwenye maisha baada ya tiba, na kuinua mashujaa nchini Tanzania.

Kama sehemu ya dhamira na lengo letu la kuleta mabadiliko katika jamii ya saratani na jamii kwa ujumla, SCF ingependa kurudisha tabasamu na matumaini yaliyopotea kwa wagonjwa wa saratani, mashujaa, wanafamilia wanawahudumia wagonjwa na jamii. Katika kutimiza au kufikia haya malengo Asasi yetu (SCF) imekuja na kauli mbiu isemayo, “Rudisha Tabasamu” yenye nia ya kuonyesha upendo, kuelimisha jamii, kuwahudumia wagonjwa,mashujaa wa saratani ya mlango wa kizazi, matiti na tezi dume na wanaowahudumia wagonjwa majumbani. Katika mpango huu, tumepanga kuchangisha fedha kutoka kwa marafiki, familia, na wafanyakazi wenzetu kiasi kidogo kila mwezi. 

Hivyo, fedha zitakazokusanywa kutokana na mpango huu wa changizo la Tshs. 10,000/= zitaelekezwa kusaidia maeneo yafuatayo yenye uhitaji:-

• Uchunguzi wa awali
• Matibabu tiba kemia (chemotherapy)
• Usafiri wa kufika hospitalini na kurejea majumbani.
• Kuwatembelea wagonjwa majumbani kwa huduma za tiba shufaa (Palliative care).

Asasi yetu imegundua kikwazo kikuu cha wagonjwa wengi wa saratani na mashujuaa wanayakabiliwa nayo ni changamoto za kifedha kwa ajili ya uchunguzi wa awali, matibabu, ufuatiliaji wa vipimo pamoja na usafiri kwa walewanaotoka maeneo ya mbali na hospitali au mikoani. Walengwa watatambuliwa kutoka hospitali zilizochaguliwa kwa kutumia usaidizi wa wafanyikazi wa kijamii au wauguzi wa oncology na pia kutumia msingi wa data wa hospitali kutambua wale wanaohitaji huduma ya tiba shufaa majumbani mwao. Haya yote hayatawezekana bila msaada wako wa ukarimu.

Ili kutimiza dhamira yetu, SCF inakuomba ahadi ya kila mwezi ya Tshs.10,000/= au zaidi ambayo itatumwa moja kwa moja kwenye akaunti ambapo utapewa risiti na ripoti ya kila mwezi kuhusu kiasi kilichokusanywa/msaada uliotolewa. Kama uko tayari kuunga mkono huduma yetu, tafadhali jaza fomu iliyoambatanishwa kwenye kiungo hiki.

Kwa niaba ya mashujaa wa saratani, ningependa kutoa shukrani zangu za dhati kwa utayari wako wa kuunga mkono mpango huu.

Kwa pamoja tunaweza kubadilisha maisha ya wagonjwa kwa mpango wa Rudisha Tabasamu.
